i had dinner with Kat and Sarah....WOA, it was total flashback and wierd, but really great. more so great than wierd. but i miss class. rather, i miss learning and liking it...the work i do not miss. but ive totally missed out on the traveling thing this year, im actually really envious of everyone who is or was or soon will be leaving this self-absorbed country.
i neeed a really good intelligent read. any sugesstions? - kel and meg, u guys are good at that?
also, ive started my own harry potter countdown...im reading the 4th, maybe 5th, though i do need SOME sleep before friday midnight, so we'll see. - as for the death bet...i really couldnt say, though i have confidance that it will break my heart, whoever it is. shes just damn good like that.
fuck the future and career shit. can i just join the peace corps? (and maybe then be famous, beautiful and brilliant?)
but for now, how about just some dang human contact. thats all i need. some petting or hair playing with or back scratching, hell a message would be heaven.

For an intelligent read, I'd go with anything by David Sedaris, because it's articulate and hilarious. For good historical fiction (of the Tudor persuasion) I'd go with anything By Jean Plaidy, but particularly "Queen of This Realm" which is supposed to be the "autobiography" of Elizabeth I. For a not intelligent read, I'd suggest (and this is hilarious) the "sequel" to Pride and Prejudice that was written a few years ago. It's called "Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife" and it is SMUT. smut Smut Smutty McSmutsville. I kid you not, the first 200 pages of the book are like, "Darcy and Elizabeth have sex here. Then here. In this position. Joy."
